After what was an incredibly packed month in September, October is looking like it’s going to be equally busy, with major releases like Silent Hill 2, Metaphor: ReFantazio, Dragon Age: The Veilguard, and others vying for attention. Another major game lined up for launch this month is, of course, Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, and to continue building up the hype surrounding its looming release, Activision has showcased a new launch trailer.
The trailer focuses primarily on the upcoming shooter’s single-player campaign, which will be set in the 1990s during the Gulf War, with a number of familiar characters also returning, including the likes of Black Ops Cold War’s Russel Adler and series mainstay Frank Woods. The game will, of course, also feature a Zombies component and PvP multiplayer, both of which we can expect to continue hearing more about in the lead-up to release later this month.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 will be available on October 25 for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, Xbox One, PS4, and PC.
