The EA Play catalog grows again this week with the addition of the latest NHL game from EA Sports. NHL 21 is now available on EA Play across consoles.
Since EA Play is bundled with Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, subscribers to that service can play the game as well through their subscription. EA Play is also offered on PlayStation and Xbox consoles as a standalone subscription offering, so you can sign up that way if you want. EA Play and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate are also available on PC, but NHL 21 is not.
NHL 21 is the latest entry in EA's long-running NHL series. The game added a series of new skill moves for 2021, including the lacrosse/Michigan goal, which is incredibly tough to pull off. The game also features an improved Be A Pro mode for players looking to get more out of the career mode as they build a character live out their fantasy career.
EA Play subscribers also get access to special in-game rewards and challenges. Additionally, members receive early access to upcoming EA games and 10% off all EA digital content. As for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, this $15/month membership includes the full library of Xbox Game Pass, along with EA Play, as well as cloud gaming and other perks.
