Nintendo’s Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury topped UK physical sales charts for the second week in a row as per Gfk Chart-Track. Despite sales dropping by 61 percent, it’s already the best-selling new title in the region thus far. Interestingly, FIFA 21 saw a 59 percent increase in boxed sales thanks to price cuts, which was enough for it to secure second place.
Mario Kart 8: Deluxe is an even more interesting case. The Wii U port has been a strong seller since coming to the Switch but this week, it hit third place. This is due to regular Switch consoles being in short supply and bundle options, which Mario Kart 8: Deluxe is included with, being more abundant. Animal Crossing: New Horizons saw a 4 percent drop in sales week-on-week but is still in fourth place.
Check out the Gfk’s top ten for the week ending February 20th below. The coming week should be interesting with titles like Persona 5 Strikers and Bravely Default 2 out on February 23rd and 26th respectively. Stay tuned for more details in the meantime.
