Chronoscript: The Endless End didn’t have to do much to catch our eye when it was announced, thanks to its unique premise and art style.
It’s definitely among the more interesting side-scrolling platformers out there, with a world that’s unique thanks to it being the creation of your playable protagonist, who must now navigate its dangers and bring about an ending to the story that they set in motion. That’s intriguing enough, but the new trailer that showcases how that plays out in the game has us feeling a tad disappointed that its scheduled 2026 release has now been pushed to summer 2027.
Give it a glimpse, and you’re going to see why, as the level design, mechanics, and, of course, a peek at a very imposing boss to take down are all reasons to want this one on the shelves earlier than that window. But as we always say, we’re happy to let talented studios take all the time they might want to bring out polished experiences instead of messy launches that need further work before the game’s magic truly shines through. We can’t wait to turn the pages on this one, and the new trailer’s below in case you want a better sense of why that’s the case.
