While Rockstar Games might be busy wrapping up development on Grand Theft Auto 6, the studio hasn’t yet stopped pushing out more content for Grand Theft Auto Online. The latest addition to the title is the Kortz Center Heist, which is live now across all platforms. Celebrating the launch, Rockstar has released a new 30-second trailer for the heist, which you can check out below.
The Kortz Center has never been hit by a crew before, thanks to the fact that its valuables are guarded by state-of-the-art technology like deadly lasers and rapid response time from the LSPD. The location has been described as “Los Santos’ premier cultural space” that keeps prized artworks just waiting to get stolen.
In the Kortz Center Heist, players will have to team up with the mysterious Mr. Faber and his chief fixer, Raf De Angelis. However, the heist will be more complicated than just walking in and out. Players will have to do quite a bit of preparation.
The heist comes with a new addition to the player’s Mansion – an Art Studio space. This new room will have to be renovated before the Kortz Center even becomes a target for the heist. There are other benefits to building it as well, like a new counterfeiter setting up their operations, giving players the ability to craft forgeries that can replace the real pieces of art in the museum.
As preparations for the heist continue, the Art Studio will also start filling up with all of the player’s gear that has been accumulated leading up to the finale. Players will also be able to set up a custom loadout from the room.
The Kortz Center Heist has been designed for solo and group play, with a maximum of up to four players being able to team up for the mission. De Angelis will continue to offer assistance as well through reconnaissance and other valuable intel to help you plan out the heist.
While the core mission will revolve around one specific work of art, players can also get their hands on other fine art pieces as Secondary Targets. Rockstar has described this heist as being “a most fiscally enriching score”. More options for these Secondary Targets will pop up depending on the level of preparation of the players.
Topping it all off, players will be able to display their stolen artwork in the Art Studio rather than just selling it off to Mr. Faber’s clients. With new Primary and Secondary Targets being available every week, players will have plenty of options about whether they want to hang on to any specific piece or if they would prefer to sell it off.
To help players set up for the Kortz Center Heist, Rockstar Games has confirmed that it is offering a GTA$500,000 bonus and a free Benefactor Turreted Limo (Sedan) when playing Grand Theft Auto Online. The heist itself will also bring with it a host of new vehicles, including Supercars, Drift and Hao’s Special Works upgrade-compatible options.
