Ubisoft Singapore’s Skull and Bones is coming to Steam on August 22nd. The naval action RPG launched on February 16th for PC via Ubisoft Connect and the Epic Games Store alongside Xbox Series X/S and PS5.
Set in the Indian Ocean, the story sees the player on a journey to become a Pirate Lord, from a lowly Sloop to massive vessels with multiple cannons. Despite the intriguing premise, Skull and Bones saw numerous delays and rumored reboots before launch. It received mixed reviews from critics, though Ubisoft has touted it as having the second-highest engagement among its library.
Skull and Bones is currently in the middle of Season 2, which added the Hubac Twins as new enemies, Lestari the Megalodon as a new Sea Monster, the Brig ship type, and more. Season 3 brings a new 5v5 PvP mode and arrives this Summer, potentially coinciding with the Steam release. Stay tuned for more details, and check out our review for the base game.
