Switch 2 May Not Be Able To Run GTA 6, Experts Say

Rockstar Games has confirmed GTA 6 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. An ex-Rockstar dev explained why the PC port wouldn't be available at the same time as console versions, but the question remains: What about the Nintendo Switch 2? Digital Foundry answered.

In its Direct Special for GTA 6, Digital Foundry creators talked about the long-awaited follow-up to GTA 5 and the consoles it would run on. They touched upon topics such as how much more advanced PCs will be compared to the current PlayStation and Xbox generation, and if the Nintendo Switch successor would be able to handle GTA 6. So far, they are skeptical.

Although the specs for the inevitable Switch 2 haven't been announced, DF's Richard Leadbetter claims that the team has a "pretty good idea" of what to expect based on what they know about the T239 processor.
