South Park creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone are buying Casa Bonita. The much-loved Mexican-themed entertainment restaurant in Lakewood, Colorado, has featured in South Park and was facing bankruptcy.
As reported by CBS Denver, Parker and Stone revealed that they had reached a financial agreement with the owners of Casa Bonita in a live-streamed Facebook interview with Colorado governor Jared Polis. Stone explained that the deal was still pending legal proceedings, but the pair seem confident it will go through.
"We know that there have been a lot of people in Colorado that love Casa Bonita and have been working on this and we're excited to work with everybody and make it the place we all want to make it," Parker said.
