Actor Jessica Henwick, who is also among the newcomers for The Matrix 4, is joining the Knives Out 2's sizable cast, according to Deadline. "Sizable" may be an understatement, as a new ensemble member for the whodunit has been announced at a steady pace over the last few weeks.
Henwick joins Madelyn Cline (Outer Banks), Kate Hudson (Kung Fu Panda 3), Kathryn Hahn (WandaVision), Dave Bautista (Army of the Dead), Janelle Monáe (Homecoming), Edward Norton (Fight Club), and Leslie Odom Jr. (Hamilton) in a cast positively bursting with big names. Daniel Craig's detective character, Benoit Blanc, will be returning as well.
Although no plot details are known, it is assumed that the massive list of names will, as in the 2019 movie starting the franchise, comprise a huge number of potential suspects and trails to follow as Benoit Blanc interrogates people involved in a murder. It would not at all be out of the question to expect further casting announcements in the coming weeks.
