Doom Eternal Next-Gen Upgrade Hits Next-Gen Consoles And PC June 29

Bethesda has announced that Doom Eternal will receive a free next-gen optimization patch for all next-gen consoles and PC on June 29.

The patch will include improved visuals and a performance mode supporting up to 120 FPS on all consoles. The Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5 upgrade will also feature ray-tracing and 4K gameplay.

Doom Eternal launched for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC on March 20, 2020, continuing the reboot of the storied Doom first-person shooter franchise. The expansion, The Ancient Gods, launched Part One on October 20, 2020 and Part Two on March 18, 2021
