Grinding Gear Games’ next big league for free to play action RPG Path of Exile is coming soon-ish. Community manager Bex revealed on Twitter that an official release for patch 3.14.0 hadn’t been announced but early to mid-April is “still the timeline.” The launch date should be confirmed “some time next week most likely.”
The current league, Ritual, launched in January alongside Echoes of the Atlas, a major new expansion to the end-game. The latter added new Atlas Passive Points for additional rewards in certain activities while introducing new multi-boss fights along with The Maven as a new super-boss. Such was the expansion’s success that it led to a new all-time player peak of 157,103.
Though the developer hasn’t revealed the next league’s mechanics, it did outline changes coming to Harvest. Its crafting system was added to the core game with Echoes of the Atlas and will be seeing some nerfs in patch 3.14.0. You can read more about it in the recent Development Manifesto, though suffice to say that the community is divided on these changes. Stay tuned for more details on the patch in the meantime.
We haven't announced the official date just yet. Early-mid April is still the timeline and we'll confirm the launch date publicly some time next week most likely.
