Nintendo has released its newest update for Animal Crossing: New Horizons, adding its previously announced Super Mario Bros. collaboration. It essentially adds items that celebrate Mario’s 35th anniversary. However, while the free update is currently available to download, the items in question won’t be available until March 1st.
A free mushroom mural will be provided immediately at least. New items being added include the Flagpole, Warp Pipes (which can be used to travel from one area on the island to another), the Question Block and a Mushroom among others. You can also look forward to costumes of Mario, Luigi and Princess Peach among others.
These items will be available to purchase from Nook Shopping so make sure you have enough saved up. Other seasonal items will also go live on March 1st so stay tuned for more details. In the meantime, check out our review for Animal Crossing: New Horizons here. Expect more updates in the future especially with the title having sold over 31 million units till date.
