Nvidia Shield TV Is Now Compatible With Xbox Series X/S And PS5 Controllers

Gaming on the Nvidia Shield TV streaming device has just gotten a boost, with the announcement that Xbox Series X/S and PS5 controllers would be able to be paired as of update 8.2.2, as reported by TalkAndroid. The new generation controllers can be paired via Bluetooth in a quick process.

To pair the controllers, start Bluetooth pairing on the Shield and enter pairing mode on the controller. For PS5's DualSense this can be done by holding the PlayStation button and share/clip button until the light turns blue, for Xbox Series X/S, hold the pairing button until the Xbox button blinks.
