Arc System Works released the latest trailer for Guilty Gear Strive on New Year’s Eve, showcasing gameplay of Anji Mito. The Guilty Gear veteran hasn’t been playable since Guilty Gear XX Accent Core Plus and we finally get a look at how he’ll fight. Check out the trailer below.
Touted as “hot-blooded” and acting more “intuition rather than reason,” Anji’s style seems to have a number of wind-ups. However, there’s also some interesting twirls which can seemingly get past attacks and strike at foes. Overall, it’s a pretty interesting style and nice foil to the current roster.
Speaking of which, the final playable fighter will be revealed in February via a new trailer, bringing the total roster to 15. Guilty Gear Strive is slated to release on April 9th for PC, PS4 and PS5. Those who purchase the Deluxe and Ultimate Editions on consoles will receive three days early access. Stay tuned for more details on its release in the coming months.
