Microsoft showed up at The Game Awards tonight to reveal the first game from on its newest studios, The Initiative. The game is called Perfect Dark and it's coming to Xbox and PC.
The game is a first-person shooter and as seen in a trailer, takes place in a futuristic setting and stars Agent Dark. Perfect Dark seems to be a soft reboot or remake of the original Perfect Dark developed by Rare.
The Initiative was founded in 2018, with Microsoft hiring former Square Enix and Activision boss Darryl Gallagher to lead the team. The team is comprised of a number of big names, including Red Dead Redemption writer and designer Christian Cantamessa.
