Super Mario 3D All-Stars would have sold like peanuts either way, but it seems Nintendo turning it into a limited-time release has really helped speed up its sales right off the bat. As per a recent report by SuperData, the compilation of 3D Super Mario titles sold 1.8 million digital units worldwide. In the process, it became the biggest digital launch for a Mario game on the Switch, beating New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe, Super Mario Odyssey, and Super Mario Maker 2.

SuperData also reports that Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1+2which remakes and compiles the first two games in the series, enjoyed an extremely successful launch, selling 2.8 million digital units worldwide in September. It has also outpaced the digital launch sales of previous recent Activision remakes, Crash Bandicoot N.Sane Trilogy and Spyro Reignited Trilogy. Activision have previously announced that the game sold over 1 million units within two weeks of launch, becoming the fastest title in the series to get to that mark.

SuperData’s report also reveals that Marvel’s Avengers sold 2.2 million digital units worldwide in September. Get more details on that through here.
